  1. I was so saddened to learn of Stephanie's passing. She fought so hard to stay with her family. I know Stephanie as a WSU colleague -- and I know how much she loved her family and how proud she was of her boys. She frequently shared stories of their "adventures". She was one of the best at her job, and one of the "best" PERIOD. She will leave a big void in this world and many of us will carry her memory with us always. Shari Lewis

  2. Stephanie was good people. When my Kay became ill Stephanie came to our aid. Rob, I know the hurt you are suffering. May the the Lord give you and Travis and Will the strength to get through the pain. It can be done.

  3. Rob, Will, and Travis, I am so sorry to hear that Stephanie has left this world. She was a delightful friend and colleague. In contrast to some of us picking up kids at Mini U after a long day of work at WSU, Stephanie always had a smile and a cheery word for everyone. You are in my heart as you mourn.

  5. I am flabberghasted to hear the sad news. Stephanie was a kind and professional person and colleague whom I very much admire. She loved her family and devoted much of her free time taking care of the boys when they were young. I still remember her joy every time she told me about her activities with them. She will be very much missed. Please accept my deepest condolences.

  7. I remember working with Stephanie when she was a staff photographer with the Orlando newspaper while she covered the space coast for them. She was always a pleasure to work with even though we worked for competing papers. She had a smile on her face and a helping hand always out to help. She will be missed by everybody that has known her.

  8. Stephanie was a wonderful woman, that I got to know. She was like a Mom to me and always made me feel good about myself. I wish I got to see her again before she left us. She is a remarkable woman with a very loving husband and two wonderful boys. I will never forget her and all the wonderful encouragement she gave to me...

  9. Stephanie will indeed be missed. What a wonderful person she was, so cheerful and positive! She had such a steady, calming personality, and was so full of life and love for her family. We were fortunate to have known Stephanie for many years, starting when our oldest son, Tony, attended Mini U with Will. Now, they’re college roommates and they continue to be the closest of friends. We just love the Ely family; you will all continue to be in our hearts. Thank you so much, Rob, for sharing your last day with Stephanie with all of us. As heartbreaking as it was to read the passage, it was comforting to know she found peace at the end, and in some respects, you did as well. Your selfless love allowed her the peaceful, graceful exit she so deserved. We’ll miss you greatly, Stephanie, but we also know we will one day meet again.
    With love,
Sheila, Bob, Tony and Connor Mundey
